Nature Views from Spring Break 2011

This is the view from the porch of our cabin looking towards the creek below. We saw some wild turkeys come through here one morning. If you were to move 10 feet to your right your view would be almost the same and you would be in the hot tub. Enjoying nature is tough.
This shot was taken by the professional Rita of the Cavender Creek.
Cabin #4 in her majestic beauty.
 Fishing pond on the property.
The Amicalola waterfall in the background.
Closer view of the falls.

Lunch and the park

Last Tuesday Josh, Rita, and I went downtown for lunch. We walked over to the park to work off the BBQ we ate. The park sits along a river walk that the city built. It was just a fun day enjoying the almost spring weather. Josh had a blast mainly because he had mom and dad to himself.

2011

The start of a New Year is an opportunity to reflect on what has been and set intentions for what will be. We live in the present moment, but dreams and desires for the future create focus for our lives. Without focus we are usually disappointed with the results of our efforts. If our wish is to experience a greater sense of fulfillment, a focus on authentic connection with others will help us create it. We love you all. Thanks for the memories, we will make some more together in 2011.
